I’ve always been a visual person. I started creating vision boards 23 years ago because it felt good to record my ideas creatively.

I then became amazed at what started to happen in my life. I had a vision of working backstage at London Fashion Week and saw The Oscars as part of my path. Then I almost fell of my chair when these ideas came to life! I’d go as far as to say that my life has generally taken shape through the power of vision.

Healing is the root of transformation.

This is all great isn’t it, but when I was diagnosed with PTSD in 2018, I stopped my usual visualising processes. My focus was required elsewhere and there was a lot of healing work required of me. I dug deep, did the work, and put all long-term plans on hold.

2023 was the year I reinstalled my vision board, it was also the year where Grazia heralded me as “The Visualiser,” which I’m sure is no coincidence. I felt my power return and my ideas turned into real life projects. The best part of this is the feelings and sentiments of what I was seeking to create, came to life inside me.

I have discovered that I can think about my needs and call them in simply, with grace and ease – there really is no need for a whipping stick! This is the ultimate win for me.

My healing journey has been a crucial part of my ability to come back to a vision that feels good and right for me now.

I am going to dedicate more time and space to this very theme, so stay tuned.

I also wanted to share some insights I gained today. I asked the question; what is vision? You can read the responses below:

Creating a vision that is in alignment with your life’s purpose will have a magnetic quality. Your purpose is to learn, heal and grow in ways that enhance your life, and world. You have a mission and many opportunities to create plans that align with this. Your potential to create is limitless.

Your vision will require elements of giving and receiving. The order of this changes depending on your needs and energy levels.
