Wisdom is both waiting & action
Taking time to connect to my feminine wisdom and leadership inspires collaboration
I recently returned from a leadership retreat in Spain, where our mission was simple yet profound: to reconnect with ourselves, each other, and nature. We invested in ‘simply being’- a practice that, paradoxically, leads to ‘rightful action’ and clearer next steps.
Now, two weeks later, I feel both calmer and more tired. I’ve come to realise that adrenaline was driving my activity before, even though that was never my intention. This experience has led me to make a conscious commitment to slow down and work with two radical daily choices: wait or act.
In a world that often rewards speed, competition, and burnout, choosing a different way - a way rooted in wisdom, collaboration, and deep recovery - feels both radical and necessary.
Presence sits inside us, to find it we must listen!
As women, we have an opportunity to redefine leadership in a way that not only empowers us but also transforms the spaces we move through.
Getting in touch with our inner nature and wisdom unlocks the door to your leadership
The essence of Feminine Leadership…
What does it look like to embody a leadership style that is grounded in presence rather than urgency? How do we cultivate collaboration over competition? And what practices sustain us so we can lead with clarity and impact?
True feminine leadership isn’t about simply adopting traditional power structures - it’s about transforming them. It’s about learning to trust deeply, to support rather than compete, and to lead with an authenticity that fosters lasting change.
The Importance of Deep Recovery…
Before we can lead powerfully, we must first learn to listen - to ourselves, our bodies, and the wisdom within us.
Deep recovery isn’t just about rest; it’s about creating space - to sense, reflect, and reconnect.
When we operate from exhaustion, we lose clarity. We fall into patterns of overdoing, over giving, and reacting instead of responding. But when we embrace deep recovery, we tap into a different kind of power: a leadership that is clear, intentional, and deeply rooted.
Reflection: Ask Yourself…
When was the last time I truly listened to what my body and intuition needed?
Am I giving myself space to pause, reflect, and be - or am I caught in the cycle of urgency?
The invitation is to lead differently. To trust that slowing down doesn’t mean falling behind. To recognise that collaboration strengthens us. And to embody a leadership that prioritises presence, wisdom, and recovery - because this is the kind of leadership that lasts.
